Get blind people to see again. Technology is amazing!

We all know that today’s technology is capable of many different and advanced things. But I must admit that I sometimes get a little impressed by what some people are able to do with this technology.

I just read about some German scientists who have developed a “subretinal implant”, which have been inserted under the retina in 3 blind people’s eyes. A few days after the procedure, all 3 subjects were able to identify different objects and tell the time from a clock, just by looking at it.

I must say that I am amazed that this actually is possible to make blind people see again. I hope this is something that within a few years is improved and tested, so some blind people can get the opportunity to see again.

Wow that's actually really amazing, I thought it would be a few more years before we got any tech like that. That's going to be very helpful to society once the trials are over, it might help some people drive better.
